Landscape Designer Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, Langley and Mission BC

Landscape Designer/ Consultant

Mary was educated at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, with a diploma in Biological Sciences Landscape Horticulture.  Her ardor for plants, art and photography soon evolved into a lifetime devoted to gardens.

She later succeeded as a landscape designer working with Blasig Landscape Design & Construction, BC’s leading design/build firm – where she produced both drafts and garden designs – which gained her an Award of Excellence at the BC Place Home and Garden Show Exhibit Awards.

After 30 years of experience in the design/build sector of landscaping, she began her own business– Easton Landscape Design & Construction — and specializes in bringing the best design and construction practices to high-end residential clientele in the Pacific Northwest.

Mary has worked alongside and studied with John Brooks, one of the most influential landscape designers of the 20th century, and Ruth Olde, both famous for their work, teachings and writings.

She is dedicated to designing and building anything outside the walls of your home from concept to creation “creating timeless west coast gardens”.

Landscape Construction Foreman/Fabricator

Wylie is our landscape construction foreman and fabricator.  He has over 10 years experience in the landscape construction & renovation field and has been a welder/fabricator for more then 5 years.  From an early age he’s had a fascination to create and build things with his hands.  Acres of land are now his canvas using equipment, machinery, softscape and hardscape elements to bring Easton’s designs to life.

Wylie plays an active role on-site in our exterior landscape construction division.  Water features, custom woodworking and hand-crafted metal projects for residential and commercial clients are just some of his artisan specialties. Some of his past projects include: a 6 ft live reclaimed raw fir table with custom fabricated legs, custom designed wood arbours, garden arbour swings, aluminum garden trellis’, handcrafted metal gates and custom outdoor furniture crafted from cedar and steel.
