This rural Sumas Mountain home, accommodates many recreation activities around the property. The pool & spa area with outdoor shower and fire-bowl, the covered kitchen, dining and living room with fireplace, as well as the many other outdoor lounging rooms throughout. Also included is a vegetable garden, apple orchard and chicken coop run.
Nestled among creeks and mature forests this remodeled garden was paramount in reflecting the adjacent native character of the property.
Site planning was designed to accommodate a new pool enclosure, eroding banks stabilized with local boulders & terraces, new architectural concrete walls & stairs for ease of movement.
Features also include: in-house designed & fabricated aluminum self-closing gates with acrylic panel in-lays, custom designed and built clear cedar fencing with 1/4″ stainless steel aircraft cables, all new planting with emphasis on edibles, unique/rare species & natives, beautiful black clay pottery from Vietnam and all new garden lighting & irrigation bringing this forest to life at night.
